A new development…

IMG_20140113_205050While my blog has been quiet for a few months, my studio life certainly hasn’t. In fact, our family doubled in size, I completed my first solo art show this past October at The Whitty Gallery in Hollis, NH, and as if that’s not enough to keep an art studio bursting with life and new adventures, today, I signed a contract as author-illustrator with a literary agent – the most incredible Sarah Landis (Sterling Lord Literistic, Inc.)

What does this mean? It means writing will be taking center stage in my life in 2019.

Large and most medium sized publishing houses do not accept manuscript submissions from authors. Instead, your work must be submitted and represented by a literary agent. And now I have one. The best one, really, with outstanding background, and just the right energy for my projects. I. Can’t. Believe. This. Is. Happening. After years of writing contests, NaNoWriMo, critique groups, writing conferences, and countless submissions, I have my dream agent. My to-do list is exploding with revision deadlines, storyboard check marks, and author page setup. Are you ready to follow my journey into publishing? Make sure you join me on Twitter and Facebook.

Let’s get these books in print and on the book shelves.
