In my past life, I’ve been an elementary school teacher for ten years, with ink stained fingers, and too many books in my to-read pile. These days, I spend my time painting commissioned pieces and teach art from my home studio.
Ukrainian-born immigrant, I came to the US when I was 16 years old. I call New Hampshire my home now – photographer, gardener, birdwatcher, adventurer, a storyteller; self-taught and nature-inspired, occasionally, I sketch with chalk and charcoal. However, lately, I favor acrylics, ink and watercolor.
When I paint, Rottweilers keep my feet warm.
All things New England make me happy: fall leaves and snowstorms included.
