We offer some of the following  programs throughout the year in schools and Parks & Recreations departments: PAINTING WEEKLY, ART WEEKLY, and PHOTOGRAPHY WEEKLY.

In PAINTING WEEKLY, students meet once a week for 8 weeks, polishing their skills in watercolor and acrylic painting. We don’t just paint by number, we discuss brushstroke, composition, and fun painting techniques employed by the artists with a goal of accomplishing specific look. We look at the variety of supplies available for each medium and learn how to pick the best paint, brush, paper, or canvas for our projects.

 

In ART WEEKLY, students meet once a week for 4 weeks and experiment with a variety of media. Project vary and may include everything from Chinese Ink Painting, mosaic, using non traditional materials, collage, etc.

In PHOTOGRAPHY WEEKLY, students meet once a week for 8 weeks and learn the basics of photography composition as well as get introduced to a variety of equipment. It’s a perfect blend of history behind camera evolution, skill, and practice.
