Art Journaling for Homeschoolers
Language Arts and Visual Art come together in Art Journaling class. We explore different ways of expressing ourselves on paper, be it reflecting on a reading passage, taking notes as a learning experience, or writing down our own thoughts. Creativity has many forms, and students discover how to combine words and color to create a beautiful record of their knowledge and ideas.
Space is limited to four students per session (ages 10 and up.)
Class is offered on Fridays at 9:30am-11:00am and at 11:30am-1:00pm.
Four-session commitment is required (Cost: $120.00)
Students must have a spiral journal with blank, non-lined pages for this class. All other materials will be provided.

Art Weekly – Kids Class (10-14 y.o.): Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm. Age: 10 and up. Cost: $30.00 per class, or $108.00 for four sessions prepaid. Class size is limited to four students.
Art Weekly – Little Ones (5-9 y.o.): Tuesdays: 4:15-5:15pm; Wednesday at 9:30-10:30am; Thursdays: 4:30-5:30. Cost: $25.00 per class, or $80.00 for four sessions prepaid. Class is limited to four students.

Outdoor Sessions: Tuesday and Sunday mornings we’ll be holding outdoor painting sessions in scenic location! If you would like to join us painting the waves at Wallis Sands, sketching the streets of Portsmouth, or setting up our easels in a farm field, let me know. Have a place in mind? Contact me to set up your sessions. Outdoor lessons are limited to five students per class. All materials are provided. Age: 10 and up. Cost: $40.00 per session, or $145.00 for four sessions prepaid.

Art Studio FAQ
What? Art commissions and art classes: small group and private art lessons in drawing, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, photography, and coffee (I know!) As well as themed workshops: Example – Vang Gogh 4-lessons series.
Where: Private Art Studio in Bedford, NH off of Meetinghouse Road. 
When: Monday-Saturday; check one of the scheduled small-group classes, or call or e-mail to schedule class at a time convenient for you.
Who: Kids and adults alike!
How: Choose a class, call or e-mail to schedule your time; pay via cash, check, or paypal.
How much: age group and number of classes you sign up for determine the price of the lessons.
Example: project hour for kids 5-9 y.o. starts at $25 per class, or $80 for four prepaid lessons. 10 y.o. and up: private lessons start at $35 per class, or $120 for four lessons prepaid.

Artist focus workshop: Van Gogh Inspired
Last week in July we are going to choose four works by Van Gogh and use them as inspiration to create our own version of the paintings. The great master’s paintings hold a number of lessons in color, stroke, and composition.
Cost: $130.00 per person. Ages 12 and up.

Adding Photography to the list of summer classes!
We’ll play with vintage cameras, learn history of photography, discover principles of composition, and enjoy every moment of it! Five classes are taught on Mondays, start July 11th, and open to children 9-13 y.o. Cost: $125 for five sessions.
